Today, we went to Covent garden. It’s a district near to the Thames, between the district of Westminster and The City of London. It became a famous district in the XVIth century, thanks to the architect Inigo Jones. It was inspired by the model of the Italian renaissance. The big building in the centre of the district, apple market, was built in 1830. It is an old property with a glass roof and stone walls.

Furthermore, we saw some other structures around this market. There was the High Commission of India, which represented the fact that India had political discussions with England. It is a huge and beautiful building with a lot of windows of different size on the facade. Bush house was located next to it. It was put into service in 1935, but the construction lasted 10 years. Now, it’s a college.
Then, we went to Shoreditch to eat in Bagel Bake which is a well-know shop where we could eat a lot of different types of bagels. Here we met some friends from Polytech, so we ate together under a pavilion.
Because of the amount of rain, we decided to go home to work on our project and do some research about our topic.
