We started the day with a breakfast at 8 o’clock. Then, we decided to go to Buckingham Palace. We wanted to see the changing of the guard at half past eleven. Unfortunately, with the visit of Trump, the plan of the day has been totally changed. The changing of the guard was canceled and a lot of police officers were in the disctict. They blocked different streets with gates for Trump’s cars.

Buckingham Palace was enermous and majestic. In front of it, there was a statue with a golden sculpture. Over the Palace, a flag showed if the Queen was here or not. This morning, the flag was colored in gold, blue and red. In this way, this meant that the Queen was present. The other days, the flag was the Union Jack.

During the afternoon, we saw Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster. However, there were many scaffoldings for works. Only the clock was visibled. In streets near to Westminster, there was a huge demonstration. People criticized Trump with different slogans like « Dump Trump » or  » Trump stink ». So, it was a bit difficult to move where we wanted.

At the end, we discovered Westminster Abbey. We wanted to visit it but it was too expensive. So, we walked around and observed a beautiful gothic architecture.
