Canary Wharf is a big district and it’s also a major business district. It is one of the United Kingdom’s two main financial centres. The first is the traditional City of London. It contains many of Europe’s tallest buildings. In this district, there is the second tallest in the UK, One Canada Square. Canary Wharf is located on the Isle of Dogs.

Canary Wharf is 97 acres (39 hectares) and contains around 16,000,000 square feet (1,500,000 m2) of offices and shops. It comprises many open areas like parks and squares.
Most of the buildings have rectangular shape and a facade mainly composed of glass.
We saw that this district is quite recent and well maintained as the public spaces are spacious.
There are seventeen skyscrapers and the smallest is Churchill Place. It is 65 metres high with fifteen floors.

The speciality of this district is the presence of water at the foot of the buildings. The water meanders between the skyscrapers.
